Research Interest
Her research interests have included novel diagnostics for drug-resistant bacteria, viral hemorrhagic fevers, emerging infections, and global health.
Clinical Interest
Dr. Tompkins has a clinical interest in general infectious diseases in hospitalized patients, multi-drug resistant infections, and in the use of telemedicine to deliver care.
Educational Interest
Dr. Tompkins takes an interest in teaching residents and fellows in the management of general infectious diseases.
